Trying to conceive

As I mentioned before, my husband and I are trying to have another baby. Well I stopped taking my birth control pills in April and I STILL have not had a period. I am trying not to stress since I have been on pills for nine years. However it is hard not to. I have read that it has taken some people several months to even two years to conceive after being on birth control for so long. I never thought this was a possiblity. After reading article after article, I know I just have to give it time. When the time is right, it will happen.

My first blog post

I never thought I'd be blogging before. I figure this would be a great way to keep track of my daily activities. Maybe this way I can hold myself accountable for the things I say I'm going to do. For instance, I should planning a menu so my family can eat healthier. Another thing on the top of my to do list is to start exercising regularly. Anyhow, I'm still trying to decide what this blog will mostly be about. I love entering contests and sweepstakes online. I'm a mom, wife, and a full time nurse so I guess I'm a Sweepstaking Medical Mama!
